This is a raw reference spectrum of Vega, taken with Alpy 600 spectrograph guided through a 23 µm slit:
The hydrogen Balmer series absorption lines can be clearly seen.
Here is a graphical representation of the above calibrated spectrum (resolution of my equipment is 3.35 A/pixel), intensity vs wavelength (in Angstrom), the Hydrogen alpha line is marked:
And here is a screen capture of the spectra acquisition process, the star must be guided through the guiding module in order to be centered permanently on the slit during the exposure (notice how the star is “cut” in half by the thin dark horizontal slit – you can click on the image to enlarge it in order to see better):
